E-mail update for June 14, 2006
I just returned from the meeting with Steve and Representative Oberstar's Senior Counsel. He remembers our situation and is supportive of pushing to get the inequities fixed but would like Steve to go through the Government Reform committee to get language tied down. Steve knows the people that he needs to talk to and will be contacting them, this will also be the quicker way to get language in. We would try to get all corrections to the retirement issues in one bill. As soon as I have more I'll let you know.
