MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
The Federal Administration (FAA) and the National Association
of Air Traffic Specialists (NAATS) agree to the following terms and conditions
as full and complete settlement of the grievance (NA) ALR-93-1-6 concerning the
interpretation and application of the provisions of Article 4 of the Parties�
agreement.
1. Where the Agreement specifies the number of hours of official time allotted
to a union official, usage of such time will be calculated by the hour,
regardless of the length of the employee's regularly scheduled work day.
2. NAATS Regional Directors may designate themselves as a nonresident facility
representative and/or hub representative in accordance with Article 4 of the
Parties� agreement. Official time authorized for this position is in addition to
any official time specified in Article 4, Section 12(c) for a Regional Director.
Such additional official time is for the purpose of performing representational
duties for the designated facility only.
3. Any union official designated as a non-resident facility/hub representative
for more than one facility will be limited to accumulating official time for a
maximum of two (2) facilities as provided by Article 4, Section 12.
The above cited grievance is considered withdrawn effective the date of this
agreement.
