MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALISTS
AND THE
FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION

This agreement is made and entered into by and between the National Association of Air Traffic Specialists (the Union) and the Federal Aviation Administration (the Agency). It represents the final resolution of all impact and implementation bargaining issues relating to Medical Guideline Letter Number MGL-B-86 issued jointly by the Acting Federal Air Surgeon and the Associate Administrator for Air Traffic, subject: Medical clearance; diabetic air traffic control specialists who use insulin.

During working hours, bargaining unit employees shall be granted official time, if otherwise in a duty status, to conduct self-testing and glucose monitoring required by Medical Guideline Letter Number MGL-B-86.
